This Remington manufactured early variation stock bearing plate is for the model 740 Woodsmaster semi-auto rifle and is in very good condition with light wear. This early variation plate has the smaller 1/2" diameter hole and is secured between the receiver and the receiver stud where as the late variation has a larger hole and is able to slide loosely over the receiver stud.
